Experience the enchantment of Bakersfield’s only community-based Nutcracker – Natalia Mallory’s The Nutcracker.
This event is designed to showcase the communities’ talents and love for dance. Dancers from several local dance studios join forces with Mallory Academy of Dance and Arts to compile a diverse cast for the performance.
Over 20 different cultures are represented within the dancers. The performance is inclusive to dancers with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to dance. The performers’ ages range from 4 to over fifty.

In December, we hosted the third annual, highly anticipated Natalia Mallory’s The Nutcracker, bringing together dancers and non-dancers alike for a magical holiday tradition. Held at The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theatre, the production was a resounding success, captivating an audience of 937 attendees with its diverse cast and dynamic performances. The Community Nutcracker reflected our mission to celebrate the arts and foster inclusivity, uniting individuals from all walks of life in the joy of dance.
